Why I Teach
I enjoy the opportunity to share with students what I have learned through study in political science, public policy, law, and sociology. I have a deep fascination with how society functions and believe that students should have a sociological imagination about the relationship between their individual biographies and the larger societal and political systems in which we all operate. I am aware that this institution offers unique opportunities to students from non-traditional backgrounds, especially those from the Chicago Public Schools.
